Project Aftershock — Regional Seismic Risk Triage

Python | REST API | Data Cleaning | Feature Engineering | Data Integration - Designed an end-to-end data pipeline to retrieve, clean, transform, and integrate live earthquake data from the USGS API. - Engineered a rule-based seismic triage system that identified high-priority events and reduced the manual review workload by 89.64% across 946 processed records. - Performed missing-value treatment, nested JSON parsing, feature engineering, min-max scaling, and ID-based joins with a secondary sensor dataset. - Evaluated the triage rule using the USGS significance score, confirming substantially higher average significance for flagged events.

I am a third‑year Computer & Systems Engineering student at Ain Shams University, passionate about building reliable software that drives sustainability and operational impact. My coursework and personal projects have given me a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and database systems, while my internship experience has taught me how to collaborate effectively in agile, fast‑paced teams.
