Please read these terms carefully before using Portify. They outline your rights and responsibilities as a user.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Portify, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use Portify. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not create accounts for others without their consent, impersonate any person, or use Portify for any unlawful purpose.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of the content you create and publish on Portify. By publishing a portfolio, you grant Portify a limited license to host, display, and deliver your content to visitors of your public portfolio URL. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your portfolio content. Do not include content that is false, misleading, or violates the rights of any third party.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Portify to: • Violate any applicable law or regulation • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems • Scrape or harvest user data without permission • Use the service in ways that could damage, disable, or impair Portify's infrastructure

5. AI-generated content

Portify uses AI to assist with content generation. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing and editing it before publishing. Portify does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any specific purpose.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep Portify available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from service downtime or changes.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Upon termination, your public portfolio will be taken offline and your data will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days.

8. Limitation of liability

Portify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portify and its founders are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
